The University Library

The University Library in Halmstad is an important information resource for study and research. It is also a work and meeting place for students, staff and the general public. In the library you find literature in all the university's research and education subjects and a wide range of reference books. The library also has reading rooms, group study rooms, computers, photocopiers, printers, scanners and microfiche reader. All these resources are available with generous opening hours.

Media

The University's collection of books is currently about 130,000 titles and about 50,000 electronic books. Approximately 10,000 academic and scholarly journals are available via databases and 500 printed journals can be found on the library's bookshelves. All literature is searchable via the library's electronic catalogue Hulda. E-books and electronic journals are available via the internet 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  

Work place and service

A wireless network is available throughout the building. Library staff are pleased to help you to find the literature you are searching for. IT support is provided for several hours every day.
