You can find the University reception at the main entrance, B Building, which is adjacent to the Trade Center offices. You can also obtain a parking permit from here. Opening times: Monday - Friday 8.00 am - 4.30 pm.
Driving on the E6 motorway from Malmö or Gothenburg you turn off at the southern exit and then drive towards the town centre. After a few kilometres you will see a high rise glass building on the left hand side. At the crossroads by the building, turn left. For parking facilities, drive straight on (round the back of the ICA Maxi supermarket), taking the next turn on your left and then carry on about 500 metres to the multi-storey car park.
Halmstad Airport has two flights per day to / from Stockholm Arlanda. You can travel from the airport to the centre of town by bus or taxi.

If you are flying in from abroad, it is often easiest to fly to Kastrup Airport, Copenhagen (Denmark) and take the train (with the final destination of Gothenburg) directly to Halmstad.
Train services will take you to central Halmstad and from the train station it is walking distance to the centre of town. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the University on foot. See map. Buses also go from the train station to most parts of the town.

Halmstad is the destination for both long-distance and express buses. To travel between the University and the centre of town takes about five minutes by bicycle and a quarter of an hour on foot. The majority choose to cycle but you can also take the bus. Bus timetables can be found on the Hallandstrafiken bus company´s website or you can also ring them on 0771-331 10 30.
Halmstad is, however, a city that is flat and fairly small. The best way to get around is by bike. There are several shops that sell second-hand bikes. Halmstad bicycle map (Swedish).

If you come from the east, for example from Växjö or Jönköping, it is easiest if you take the E6, taking the southern exit and then driving towards the town centre.
