Late applications

All applications submitted after the deadline are defined as a late application and handled accordingly.

Please note, even if you submit your application on time, if your supporting documents are not submitted correctly or received after the given deadline then your application will be regarded as late.

When the courses and programmes are closed for application, late applications will not be processed or considered.

Selection

Students paying tuition fees may be admitted in a separate selection group and the admission of these students is not limited by higher education funding from the Swedish government.

Applicants placed in the selection group for students paying tuition fees need to have their tuition fee status established by the University before the registration. It is the responsibility of the applicant to provide documentation that establishes this status.

Tuition fee paying applicants who are admitted, and have their established status changed to fee exempt students will, as a new applicant, be placed in the fee exempt selection group.

Admission rounds

Citizens of non-EU/EEA countries have to apply for courses or programmes with an application deadline of January 15 for entry the following autumn semester and August 15 for entry the following spring semester.

Please note! All education at Halmstad University will start under the condition that the necessary means are at disposal and that there is a sufficient number of applicants.
