Study documentation

In accordance with the regulations in the Directives on the documentation of studies at universities and university colleges, each university should keep a study register with information individually for each student. The following items of information should be documented in the study register:

  • Eligibility
  • Basis of selection
  • Admission
  • Participation in courses and examination
  • Results of study
  • Grades
  • Crediting of previous courses
  • Degree

Each student should be referred to by name and Swedish social insurance number. The complete social insurance number or name should not however by used in the official publication of examination results either on the school's notice board or on a website. This is also the case even if the web page is protected by password access.

Information contained in the study register constitutes documents in the public domain.
