Step 1: Preparations

Pay the tuition fee

Those of you who are required to pay tuition fee will receive an invoice by e-mail for the tuition fee of the first semester. With the invoice you will receive information about how and when payment should be made.

If you have been granted a scholarship, the amount awarded will be deducted from your invoice.

Once the fee for the first semester is paid, you can apply for your residence permit through the Swedish Migration Board.

Tuition fees do not apply for exchange students or EU/EEA students.

Apply for residence permit/visa

Students from non-EU/EEA countries have to apply for a residence permit/visa. You should start the application process as soon as you have been admitted to the university.

Register for accommodation and pick-up service

When you have been admitted, the Student Union will send you information on how to book accommodation and pick-up service on your arrival.
