Information to admitted international students

The following pages will provide you with all the important information you need, before your arrival at Halmstad University. Please go through each section thoroughly.

Time is now very short, since your courses will start in August, so we strongly advice you to start making all the necessary arrangements TODAY!

The semester starts with a registration meeting where all admitted students meet the representatives from their departments, to confirm the admission.

It's crucial that you apply for the RESIDENCE PERMIT as soon as you have been notified of your admission!

Studying at Halmstad University is an adventure and there is always something happening here. Make sure that everything is arranged before you come to Sweden; accommodation, insurance, residence permit, visa, bank accounts and so one.
