Student health and welfare

In accordance with the Higher Education Ordinance, chapter 1 paragraph 11, universities and university colleges should ensure that students have access to health care, particularly of a preventative nature the purpose of which is the promotion of the students´ physical as well as psychological health.

The Student Health and Welfare Centre at Halmstad University is responsible for student welfare. At the Student Welfare Centre, the student can obtain health advice from a qualified nurse together with consultations involving qualified professional staff, undergo a health profile assessment and additionally receive dietary and training advice etc.
