About School of Information Science Computer and Electrical engineering

The school of information science, computer and electrical engineering is the most research intensive school at Halmstad University.

At the school research is done within the following areas:
computer engineering, computer science, data communication, electrical engineering, image analysis, mechatronics, photonics, real time systems, signal analysis, physics, intelligent systems, mathematics and informatics.

About 85 persons are employed at the school and a large number of the staff originates from other countries. At present 19 nationalities are represented.

The IDE-school is organized in 4 labs. Each lab is responsible for the co-ordination and development of the education and research within its subject fields.:

  • CC-lab  (Computing and Communication)
  • IS-lab (Intelligent Systems)
  • MI-lab (Man and Information technology)
  • MPE-lab (Mathematics, Physics and Electrical engineering)
