MPE-lab - Stellarium

Stellarium was opened in November 2002 an it is used within the undergraduate eduction in physics and astronomy. It is also used for popular scientific exhibitions to the public. Stellarium is located on the roof of the O-building at Halmstad university.

It is built like a small community center with a telescope mounted on an elevated balcony. In connection with the observatory is also an open balcony where you can study the night sky through a small telescope and field glasses.
