Re-exam Skill Exam and Final Exam
Thursday the 25th of August 2011. Register for the re-exam by sending an e-mail to the course responsible before the 15th of August. The skill exam will be done on real lab equipment, and will cover all practical exercises from the course and some shorter written questions. You are allowed to bring your own hand written notes of the commands to the exam.
Results - Skill exam
The results for the Skill exam will be published in the Grade book on Cisco Academy Connection. To pass the exam 50 marks is required (of maximum 100), and 70 marks to qualify for the Cisco Academy Certificate.You can find the schedule/planning of the course here

Course information
The course consists of lectures, laborations and exercises. To pass the course, the students has to attend to and complete all the laborations, pass the Final Exam and the Skill Exam. Teaching is in English. You will find more information about the teaching formats in the syllabus.Course parts
Final Exam, 2.5 credits, grades not passed, and passed.Skill Exam, 5 credits, grades not passed, 3, 4 and 5.
Practical exam based on the laborations.
To qualify for the Skill Exam the student need to attend to all laborations, and complete the practical exercises. If one laboration is missing the student can hand in an extra assignment, if an agreement is done with the course responsible. If more than two laborations are missing, the students need to re-take the course the next time the course runs.
Most of the practical exercises will be done in groups, but some of them are individual. The student need to be able to answer questions, and show each laboration for the instructor during the lab.
Examination
The Final Exam is an on-line, multiple choice test, and will take place on Friday the 20th of May 2011. The Skill Exam is a practical test, that will cover the laborations in the course. Computer Networks IV is covering one part of CCNP, Implementing Cisco IP Switched Networks (SWITCH), and Cisco certified instructors are teaching the course. There is one Final Exam for this part of CCNP, which you need to pass with at least 70% on the first attempt to qualify for the Academy Certificate.
