Course information
The course consists of lectures, laborations and exercises. To pass the course, the students have to pass the Final and the Skills Exam. Teaching is in English. You will find more information about the teaching formats in the syllabus.Course literature

Academy certificate
Halmstad University is part of the Cisco Networking Academy. Network Security is covering the CCNA Security Track. There is one Final Exam which you need to pass with at least 70% on the first attempt. After finishing all parts of the course, you can get a Cisco Academy Certificate.Course parts
The attendance to all laborations is mandatory. Most of the practical exercises will be done in groups, but some of the exercises are individual. The student need to be able to answer questions and show each laboration. Laboratory Assessment (Skills Exam, Project), 2.5 credits, grades not passed, 3, 4 and 5.
Written Exam (Final Exam), 5.0 credits, grades passed or not passed.
