| Extended abstract: | Gender Perspective on Embedded Intelligent Systems- Application in healthcare Technology (pdf, 63 kB)
|
Halmstad Embedded and Intelligent Systems Research environment (EIS)
is a leading research centre at Halmstad University. It is placed within a very interesting innovation system that is particularly well organised and accomplished concerning applications of technology in the area of health technology. By integrating a gender perspective in all activities, the project aims to make EIS a national and international model of gender equality and a leading environment for research, innovation and education within computer technology and its applications in products and services. A gender perspective is considered especially critical in the current phase of strong development and profiling of research, with its accompanying recruitment, specifically of younger researchers. Leading gender researchers and consultants from ARGUS, the University Research group for working life and gender relations, are included in the project.
