At Halmstad University you can register and make your publications freely available by publishing them in the DiVA - Academic Archive Online. According to a decision by the head of the university (in swedish only), it is mandatory for university researchers and employees to register their publications in the DiVA.
This is what to do when you register a new publication, with or without full text
Before you begin, go to DiVA and search for your publication, to make sure it has not already been registered.
with your username and password provided by the University.

Should you register a publication which exists in the database PubMed
, or that you have in the EndNote
reference management program, you can import it from there. You do not need to complete all tasks by hand. To import items, select 'Import data for publication,' when you log in to DiVA. Remember to add the imported data with the authors of the section, the environment or group affiliation. Further instructions on how to import publications

If you want to modify an item that is already published, select 'Edit / Delete' item after you log in DiVA. Where are you looking forward line and can implement the changes.
You have the ability to change in the records that you have registered, and the lines where you are and where the author field, 'Username' is filled in with your username in the University's user directory (LDAP). Only administrators can modify the entries with uploaded the full texts or other attachments, doctoral theses, licentiate theses or student essays. Please contact DiVA helpdesk if you need to edit items you can not access.
Items that do not have a full-text or other Annex appear immediately and are reviewed by a librarian in the event.
Items with full text or other Annex reviewed by a librarian before being published in DiVA. For student papers examined records of a course administrator or equivalent. You can not see those publications in the DiVA directly when you submit your information.
All registered items can be found in DiVA. Upload a full-text becomes freely available in the DiVA but also through other search engines as OAIster
, Google
and Google Scholar
. Anyone can download and read your publication at no cost, which can lead to increased use and increased citation.
