Research Boards

The Faculty Board consists of eleven members (of which three are student representatives) and four substitute members. The Board of Teacher Education consists of eleven members of which two are external representatives and three are student representatives.

The main tasks of the boards are:

• drawing up and proposing research strategies
• quality control of the research performed at Halmstad University
• allocating funds to research groups at Halmstad University
• advising the vice chancellor in matters concerning appointment of senior lecturers, promotion and employment of lecturers and professors
