PhD Education in Innovation Sciences

The PhD education in this area focuses initially on Innovation Management and Business Development, which includes research in the areas of Social Sciences and Behavioural Sciences, Technology and Natural Sciences, with a focus on innovations, their origins, growth, commercialisation and establishment in the market.

The programme is characterised by a major empirical focus, participation in international contexts and close collaboration in research projects between doctoral candidates and senior researchers. Researchers in the programme apply different perspectives, theoretical starting points, models and methods in the development of scientific knowledge. A multidisciplinary dialogue is therefore an element of everyday life for researchers and doctoral candidates.

The PhD education focuses on various central aspects of innovation processes, including dynamics in work on innovation and opportunities for concepts to have an impact in the market or among users.
