Svenskt Nätverk för Anpassad Fysisk Aktivitet

Just nu pågår ett forskningssamarbete om kamratstöd i skolan. Samarbetet ämnar undersöka hur skolan kan använda kamratstöd så att barn och ungdomar med funktionshinder bättre kan delta i idrottslektionerna. Samarbetet sker mellan lärosätena Halmstad, Gävle, Örebro och Riga. Kamratstöd under idrottslektionerna har tidigare studerats i USA.

Medel från Nordiska Ministerrådet har erhållits för att bygga upp ett ett nordiskt nätverk. Nätverket är under uppbyggnad för att stärka kunskapsutbyte inom AFA (Anpassad fysisk aktivitet), som har blivit ett globalt begrepp.

Om du är intresserad av att studera utomlands inom området anpassad fysisk aktivitet kan Erasmus Mundus vara något för dig.

Det finns nu en ny flik där vi har samlat alla utbildningar. Bland annat finns det möjlighet att genomföra en EUDAPA-utbildning på 60 ECTS som utgår från Haaga-Helia, Finland.

- Lancaster Disability Conference 11-13th September 2012: Call for Papers

The theme for this conference is Creating Opportunities-Changing Expectations .We encourage abstract submissions in all areas of physical disabilities research, rehabilitation, and practical application.  All abstracts must be submitted online.  An easy to use online form will walk you through the process step-by-step.  The deadline for submission of abstracts is April 2, 2012.  All submissions will end at 11:59 pm Central Standard Time on the due date listed on the Call for Abstracts. No late submissions will be accepted.

The call for papers for the 2012 Lancaster Disability Studies  Conference is now open. Call for PapersThe main theme of the conference in 2012 is Disability, Poverty and   Neo-Liberalism. We invite the submission of abstracts for either   symposium, paper or poster presentations on current research, ideas   and developments in disability studies. In particular the reviewing   committee would welcome submissions in the following areas: 

• Impact of global economic changes 
• War, conflict and political change
• Independent living, rights and citizenship 
• Professions allied to communities 
• Normalcy and neuro-diversity 
• Madness, distress and disability 
• Eugenics and assisted dying 
• Culture, history and arts 
• Theoretical and methodological ideas and debates 

The reviewing committee would also welcome abstracts for poster    presentations about the work of organisations, networks and groups    which are related to disability studies. The deadline for submissions is 9th March 2012.  Abstract authors    will be notified of the reviewing committee's decision by 4th May    2012. Abstracts must be submitted using the online form which can be    found at: http://www.lancs.ac.uk/fass/events/disabilityconference/
