CAISR Health is connected to several research centres and collaboration arenas within Halmstad University, as well as Halland’s joint innovation centre for information driven care, Leap for Life. It gathers researchers from two of the Schools at Halmstad University, the School of Information Technology (ITE) and the School of Health and Welfare (HOV).

Research programme
CAISR Health is a part of the research programme Information Driven Care (IDC), which takes a broad approach to develop and research information driven care solutions, for example decision support systems in clinical practice.

CAISR Health gathers researchers from two of the University’s schools: The School of Information Technology (ITE), which is a strong research and educational environment, focusing on smart technology and its applications, and The School of Health and Welfare (HOV), a research and educational environment that focuses on people’s needs and society’s challenges in terms of health, lifestyle and welfare.

A long-term research investment in applied artificial intelligence and machine learning at Halmstad University.
The Healthcare improvement research group
Focuses on questions about how health innovations can be developed, implemented and evaluated to provide healthcare organisations with knowledge and support to achieve high quality care and improved health outcomes.
The Health Data Centre (HDC)
A centre for research and analytics within health data and artificial intelligence.
Leap for Life
An innovation centre for information driven care and a place for the pioneers of healthcare. Leap for Life gathers partners to collaborate, drive innovation and act as the driving force for change within healthcare.

Jens Nygren, Kobra (Farzaneh) Etminani, Thorsteinn Rögnvaldsson, Mattias Ohlsson, Lena-Karin Erlandsson, Markus Lingman, Petra Svedberg and Magnus Clarin are all involved in CAISR Health.
