What is a hackathon?
A hackathon is a challenge-driven problem solving event where people with various competencies are grouped together and asked to solve a reality-based case during a limited amount of time.
During this year's hackaton, the groups will focus on challenges in the municipality of Halmstad, where the theme is "the smart city of Halmstad". The groups can consist of students, researchers, employees from the municipality of Halmstad, people from the industry, local citizens and other creative minds.
No entry requirements are needed. All competencies, thoughts and perspectives are needed.
