Cybersecurity
The course aims to provide a basic understanding of security and security problems in computer networks. The course also provides opportunities to acquire the ability to carry out a basic analysis of computer security for a network system, together with the design of network solutions with good security. Furthermore students should be able to acquire, update and understand security information
Upon completion of the course, the student shall be able to
- explain and correctly use basic concepts and terminology from the computer security area
- describe and explain the most important security technologies currently in existence
- carry out a simple technical security analysis and propose a technical security solution based on the available standards within the security area
- install and use a technical security solution, such as transport layer security
