Introduction to Data Science
The course teaches critical concepts and skills in computer programming and data analysis in conjunction with hands-on analysis of real-world datasets. The student develops practical skills through computer labs and practical programming tasks in the project. The course covers the following topics:
- Basics of programming in Python, including variables, types, input/output, conditional statements, repetitive statements, functions, data structures such as lists.
- Data manipulation and processing using Python libraries such as Pandas.
- Data visualization using Python libraries such as Seaborn.
- Data analysis including classification, regression, clustering, and anomaly detection, using libraries such as scikit-learn.
