Introduction to Linux and Python
The purpose of this course is to provide students with the ability to use GNU/Linux based operating system comfortably, including taking advantage of the command line interface. The course is also expected to introduce background knowledge serving as a foundation for performing system administration tasks. Special focus will be put on underlying principles, security and use of automation mechanisms to increase work efficiency.
The goal is to make sure students are able to operate in the GNU/Linux environment and perform a number of typical administrative tasks, as well as, most importantly, are able to effectively search for knowledge about how to solve new problems.
