Terrestrial Ecosystems
This course gives an overview of the main ecological processes present in the terrestrial ecosystems of northern Europe; including forests, agricultural and urban areas. Studies focus on a series of topics e.g., soil, forestry, wild game management, agricultural intensity and sustainable use of natural resources. The course is both practical and theoretical and includes the planning, performance and writing of a small research project in terrestrial ecology.
