Professor’s portrait: From handball coach to professor
After many years at Halmstad University, Urban Johnson, Professor of Sport Psychology, is retiring.
In this film, Urban Johnson reflects on a long academic career, from his early years as a handball coach and student to helping build the field of sport psychology at the University and in Sweden. Urban Johnson’s research and teaching have made a lasting impact over time. He also shares personal reflections on what it takes to succeed, and on the importance of relationships and balance in life.
