Library system change

During week 50 the library will undertake a big system change. Before that we will have limited services and only offer borrowing, returning and reserving books. During week 50 there will be a complete halt for everything before the new system is up and running starting week 51.

Limited service – from Wednesday November 20

You can NOT:

  • Get books purchased to the library, neither printed nor electronic.

You can still:

  • Borrow, reserv and return books at the library.
  • Make interlibrary loans.
  • Access electronic resources such as databases and articles.
  • Use the library reading areas and group study rooms.
  • Use the printers.
  • Visit the information desk on Floor 1.
  • Contact the library as usual though Helpdesk or phone.

Library system closed – from Friday December 6

You can NOT:

  • Borrow, reserv and return books at the library.
  • Search and access our electronic resources online.
  • Make interlibrary loans for neither books nor articles.
  • Get books purchased to the library, neither printed nor electronic.

You can still:

  • Use the library reading areas and group study rooms.
  • Use the printers.
  • Visit the information desk on Floor 1.
  • Contact the library as usual though Helpdesk or phone.

System change completed – Monday December 16

On Monday December 16 the system change is done and the library services should be fully functional. There might still be delays and limitations in some services even after this date but the library will be fully open.

Important changes!

  • Reserved books on que will NOT be migrated to the new system. This means that if you are in que for a reservation and have not gotten it before December 6, it will be removed completely and must be added again in the new system.
  • Accounts created in EBSCOhost - meaning accounts created in OneSearch for use with saving searches, links etc. will NOT carry over to the new system.
