If you are an exchange student within the Erasmus programme this page contains some helpful information for you.

Learning agreement

As an exchange student from a European country you will need to prepare a learning agreement before you depart for your exchange. The learning agreement will be provided by your home university and needs to be processed as below.

How to obtain a valid learning agreement

Alternative 1:

  • Go to Universityadmissions.se and check that your admission status is admitted.
  • Fill out your learning agreement.
  • Send a scanned/digital version of it to helpdesk.exchange@hh.se and ask for a signature.
  • Upon the return of the fully signed agreement, send it to your home university.

Alternative 2:

  • Go to Universityadmissions.se and check that your admission status is admitted.
  • Fill out your learning agreement online via your home university's system for exchange studies.
  • The learning agreement will be sent directly to us via the online system.

Preparatory visit for students with a disability

If you are a student with a disability, you are welcome to visit Halmstad University for a preparatory visit to see the facilities and see if there is any additional support you need to arrange before you start your studies.

To request a preparatory visit, please contact helpdesk.exchange@hh.se

Example of what you can do during a preparatory visit:

  • Appointment with the disability officer to determine your needs.
  • Visit the housing office.
  • Visit to the campus.
  • Appointment with the international office.
  • Other options are open for discussion.

If you are an Erasmus student, you can apply to your home university to cover the costs of the preparatory visit through the Erasmus+ programme. Halmstad University does not cover the costs of the preparatory visit.
