How can agriculture and solar energy coexist in the landscape of the future? The presentation is based on the project Solar farming in our agricultural landscape, which investigates how agriculture and solar energy can be combined on the same land. During the lecture, we will cover how farmers’ goals, values and priorities influence whether solar farming (agrivoltaics) becomes part of their business. Swedish case studies will be used to discuss how economic, environmental and strategic considerations shape the sustainable business models of the future in agriculture.
