Who do you let in? Dare to ask
The autumn semester is now underway and there are lots of people on campus. Most premises on campus can be accessed without an access card, while some areas require an access card. It is important that you do not let unauthorised persons into locked premises.
To gain access to and be able to show that you are authorised to be on the University’s locked premises, you need to create an access card. The University’s entrance doors are open during the day, but you need an access card to enter at certain times. Some of the premises always require an access card.
All entrance doors around campus have a sticker in Swedish reminding you to ask questions and not to let unauthorised persons in. Be alert and ask if the person following behind you has an access card when you pass through a locked entrance door with your access card. Always make sure that the door closes properly behind you after you have passed through. Together, we can all help to create a safe environment.
If you have not already created an access card, you can do so on the access card webpage. There you can also read about the rules for access cards.
