Career step – Government support and regulations

Learn which Swedish government agencies are relevant to you as an international student, what support they can offer, and which regulations you need to be aware of. We will introduce examples such as the Swedish Migration Agency, the Swedish Tax Agency and the Swedish Public Employment Service.

During the autumn semester, we offer a series of themed sessions/workshops for students who want to take the next step in their career development. Each session focuses on a specific topic and gives you practical support, space for reflection and opportunities to learn together with other students. If you take part in several sessions, you will be able to build on what you have explored previously and receive more coherent career support. Participants are expected to be active and contribute to discussions and networking activities.

The sessions will help you gain a better understanding of the Swedish labour market and develop skills that are useful when applying for jobs after your studies
