Career step – Swedish and understanding Swedish workplace culture

We will explore key features of Swedish workplace culture, discuss different ways to practise Swedish in everyday life, and share practical tips that can help you feel more confident when communicating in Swedish.

During the autumn semester, we offer a series of themed sessions/workshops for students who want to take the next step in their career development. Each session focuses on a specific topic and gives you practical support, space for reflection and opportunities to learn together with other students. If you take part in several sessions, you will be able to build on what you have explored previously and receive more coherent career support. Participants are expected to be active and contribute to discussions and networking activities.

The sessions will help you gain a better understanding of the Swedish labour market and develop skills that are useful when applying for jobs after your studies
