Individual course of study
On this page you will find information about individual course of study. An individual course of study is an individual study plan that can be established for students who have reasons to deviate from the programme syllabus and course order.
Students must follow their programme syllabus and take the courses that are included, and in the order that has been decided. For students who are in need of changes to the course of study, the University can make an individual plan, if there are sufficient reasons.
Examples of possible reasons to establish an individual course of study:
- You have had a study break or have been or are on sick leave full-time/part-time
- You have not completed a course within the programme and the course has been discontinued or has been replaced by a new course
- You have been admitted to a later part of a programme or have already read courses within the programme
Contact your Programme Director
If you need to adjust your course of study, please contact your Programme Director. It is the Programme Director who assesses whether there are valid reasons and whether it is possible to establish such a planning for you. Please note that the University has no obligation to establish an individual course of study for you.
