Reconstruction of parts of campus
A few years ago, the University developed its own campus plan with a vision for how it wants to develop the campus, called Campus Plan 2030. On 1 June 2026, the first stage is planned to start with the reconstruction of the buildings around the glass corridor, buildings A, E and F.

View of campus as it is today.
Floors 1 and 2 in buildings A, E and F will be lab, teaching and study environments. Here, group rooms and project rooms are created, as well as an area with a student kitchen that can also serve as a place to sit and study. Some of the new teaching rooms are planned to be ready by the start of the autumn semester 2026, while others will be rebuilt on an ongoing basis.
During the construction period, it is possible to use the student areas in the D building as usual.
Floors 3–5 in buildings E and F will be office and work environments for the University’s employees. This work will begin in January 2027.
The reconstruction means:
- More bookable group rooms and project rooms.
- New and modern premises and labs in buildings A, E and F on floors 1 and 2.
Future developments on campus
The renovations are part of Campus Plan 2030, where several parts of the campus will eventually be rebuilt and changed, with everything from new green spaces to a students’ house with, among other things, modern study places and space for the University’s programme associations.
