Introduction activities
On this page you can find information about upcoming introduction activities organised by the University and the Student Union.
General introduction information: 27 August
On 27 August at 13.00 CET, the University will host an introduction webinar with general information for all new students. If you are part of the Fresher's Week or Introduction days (see below), you will watch the webinar together with other students at campus. However, if you do not attend the other introduction activities on campus, you can access the webinar from any device at any place. It is very important that you attend this webinar in order to get a good start of your studies.
A link to the webinar will be posted in the student calendar on the day of the webinar.
Fresher's week: 22–31 August
For exchange students and international students
All new students are invited to 10 days of social activities, organised by the Student Union. During the Fresher's week, you will get to know other Swedish and international students as well as campus and the city of Halmstad, as you take part in games and challenges together with other new students. This is a great way for you to start making friends and build a social network that will enchance your study time at Halmstad University!

Introduction days: 27–29 August
For international students
The introduction days are organised for international students starting a programme or course package at Halmstad University. During these days, you will be introduced to the University and all the various facilities at campus. You will get information about how to get settled in Sweden and the Swedish study culture. You will be introduced to the digital tools that will be used during your studies, and also get information about the study support functions offered at Halmstad University.

Please note that the Introduction days will be integrated in the Fresher's week activities, so that you are able to attend both events.
