On this page, you can find the programme for the graduation ceremony on 5 June, and other useful information about the event to keep in mind. The graduation ceremony will begin at 15.00 and lasts about an hour.
Schedule for the graduation ceremony
- From 14.00: Doors at Halmstad Arena open for students and guests. Students gather backstage while guests take their seats in the arena.
- 15.00: The graduation ceremony begins and the students walk over the stage and take their places on the arena floor. This is followed by inspiring speeches and the presentation of awards:
- Speech by Vice-Chancellor Susanna Öhman
- Award for Alumnus/Alumna of the Year
- Award for Student of the Year
- Speech by Student Union President Felicia Jakobsson
- 16.00: Conclusion of the ceremony. Students and guests exit the arena.
Entrance onto the stage
Before the graduation ceremony, the graduating students gather in a hallway backstage. The ceremony begins with the students walking onto the stage and taking their places on the arena floor. The entrance is a festive moment where the students have their time on stage wearing their graduation shawls.
The students wear graduation shawls
Students who attend the graduation ceremony may borrow a colour-coded shawl. The colour of the shawl is based on the student overall, which is used during the nollning/Fresher's week. Below you can see which education programme has which shawl colour:
