Programme for the graduation ceremony

Schedule for the graduation ceremony

  • From 14.00: Doors at Halmstad Arena open for students and guests. Students gather backstage while guests take their seats in the arena.
  • 15.00: The graduation ceremony begins and the students walk over the stage and take their places on the arena floor. This is followed by inspiring speeches and the presentation of awards:
    • Speech by Vice-Chancellor Susanna Öhman
    • Award for Alumnus/Alumna of the Year
    • Award for Student of the Year
    • Speech by Student Union President Felicia Jakobsson
  • 16.00: Conclusion of the ceremony. Students and guests exit the arena.

Entrance onto the stage

Before the graduation ceremony, the graduating students gather in a hallway backstage. The ceremony begins with the students walking onto the stage and taking their places on the arena floor. The entrance is a festive moment where the students have their time on stage wearing their graduation shawls.
