Letter for residence permit extension

If you are unable to finish your studies on time and need support with applying for residence permit extension, you may request a letter (certificate) from your programme director or supervisor by using this form.

Please note that by filling the form, you are not guaranteed a certificate. A decision will be made based on the individual assessment.
Submitting the form does not guarantee a residence permit extension. The Swedish Migration Agency is solely responsible for the decision on extensions.

This form can only be submitted by students in final semester of their studies at Halmstad University.
