New portal for student health – Studenthälsa.se
On 15 January, studenthälsa.se was launched. It is a webpage for students to find information on the theme of health. It is a new national web portal for all Sweden’s university students.
“It's great for all students that there is now a page like this with tips and advice to make your study period as good as possible.”
Elisabeth Ylander, nurse at the Student Healthcare Centre
Elisabeth Ylander, nurse at the Student Healthcare Centre at Halmstad University, explains that the new website will serve as a complement to the universities' student health clinics.
“We at the Student Healthcare Centre are always here if you have questions or concerns or need someone to talk to. Now here is also studenthälsa.se. It's great for all students that there is now a page like this with tips and advice to make your study period as good as possible”, says Elisabeth Ylander.
At studenthälsa.se there are recorded lectures, real stories from students and exercises that can help you to a sustainable student life, as well as a calendar of different events that you can participate in. There are also facts, tips and advice and guides to self-help.
“Feel free to take a look at the new web portal and take part of the contents. Being a student is about so much more than just studying!” say Sanna Svensson and Matilda Sturesson, from the Student Healthcare Centre.
