Tickets to the graduation ceremony
You as a graduand don't have to register for the graduation ceremony, but you need tickets, that are free of charge, for yourself and your guests. On this page you find information that you need to know about the tickets.
Pick up your tickets during May
You can pick up your own ticket and your guest tickets during May. You can choose to either pick up tickets in Service Center, or at one of your lectures on a specific date. You will need to bring a valid ID.
Pick up tickets in Service Center
In Service Center you can pick up tickets during regular opening hours between 4 and 29 May.
Pick up tickets outside the classroom
You can also choose to pick up tickets outside the classroom, in connection with one of your lectures on a specific date, when staff from the University will be on site. You will see in your schedule which date you can pick up tickets at a lecture.
You must pick up your own tickets
You have to pick up your own tickets. No one else can pick up your tickets, and you can not pick up tickets for anyone else.
Number of guests at the graduation ceremony
There are limited number of seats for guests at Halmstad Arena. During the period for picking up tickets, each student can therefore pick up tickets for a maximum of two guests.
After the collection period, the University will know how many students will attend the ceremony, and how many guest tickets have been picked up. If more guest tickets can be released at that point, you will be informed on this page and via e-mail.
Children also count as guests and need a guest ticket. With the exception of children that are so small that they need to sit on the lap of an adult.
