Concern for students and staff in Iranian universities
Halmstad University supports the statement made by the Association of Swedish Higher Education Institutions (SUHF) in regard to the situation in Iran. The Swedish universities share a deep concern regarding the current situation for students and staff at Iranian universities.
SUHF states that:
“SUHF is strongly committed to democratic and human rights including the right to free expression and non-violent protests. Current violations of these rights for university students and staff in Iran are deeply concerning.”
