Security and crisis management
In an emergency
In case of emergency, call 112 to get to the emergency services, ambulance or police. Do not end the call until you have received instructions from the alarm operator.
Then contact the University Estate Helpline.
Acute damage or problems on the University's property
If you discover acute faults, damage or problems in or around the University's properties, call the University Estate Helpline. You can call around the clock.
Non-urgent matters
For non-emergency cases in or around the University's properties, or if an incident or accident has occured that is not urgent, log in to the Helpdesk self-service or send an email.
To report a crime to the police in cases that are not urgent, use the telephone number 114 14.
Security guards patrolling on campus
At the University, many students and staff members are gathered on the same area and it’s important that everyone feel safe on campus. We therefore have guards continuously patrolling, mainly during evenings but also occasionally during daytime.
The presence of the guards does not mean that there is an increased risk when you are on campus. The purpose of the guards is to contribute to a safe and good study/work environment. If a situation should arise where the University considers it to be risk to be on campus, all students and staff members will immediately be informed about the situation and the premises will be vacated.
