Evaluation of research programmes

Research programmes at Halmstad University are evaluated no later than five years after their establishment. The purpose is to assess the programme’s development, results, and future potential. The evaluation is carried out by at least two external experts.

The evaluation is intended to provide the Vice-Chancellor with a basis for deciding whether the research programme should continue for a further five-year period.

The Research and Education Board (FUN) is responsible for carrying out the evaluation process. Work is currently underway to develop the relevant governing documents and instructions.
