Annual follow-up of research programmes
Halmstad University conducts its research within two focus areas: Health Innovation and Smart Cities and Communities. Within these areas, research programmes bring together researchers from different disciplines to jointly develop knowledge and contribute to solutions to societal challenges.
To ensure high quality and continued development, the research programmes are followed up annually. As part of the follow-up, the programmes describe and analyse, among other things, their research results, collaboration with wider society, scientific impact, competence development and financial development. They also identify areas that need to be strengthened in the future.
The reports are discussed with the Advisory Boards of the focus areas and followed up by University management and the Research and Education Board. The results are used to support the continued development of the research programmes and as a basis for management decisions on future strategic initiatives and funding.
