Leap for Life is Halland’s arena for health innovation. We bring together ideas, people and organisations to develop the future of healthcare and social care.
Our main mission is to support companies throughout the innovation process, from early-stage ideas and development to testing and implementation.
We work in close collaboration with Region Halland, the municipalities of Halland, Halmstad University, citizens and other innovation partners. Together, we develop solutions to society’s challenges in healthcare and social care and create innovations that make a real difference.

Halland offers a strong innovation environment where academia, the public sector, industry and other organisations work together to shape the future of healthcare and social care. Close collaboration and a shared ambition to find new solutions make it possible to test, develop and implement new ideas efficiently. This provides favourable conditions for innovations that create value for both individuals and society.
Part of Halmstad University and Hallands innovation system
Leap for Life is based at Halmstad University and is linked to the School of Information Technology. Our activities are carried out in close collaboration with Region Halland and the municipalities of Halland and are largely funded through externally financed projects. Region Halland also provides important core funding.
