The course treats typical structures for research papers and proposals in Embedded and Intelligent Systems; provide a comparative analysis as a key building block for positioning, basic building blocks and bibliographic skills. Moreover, the course provides a brief overview of the tools for authoring papers and proposals.

Scientific Review and Presentation, 1.5 credits

The course treats research methodology in Embedded and Intelligent Systems, review process in journals and conferences, review platforms, structure of a review reports, and ethical issues in research in this domain.

Embedded Intelligent Systems Languages and Tools, 1.5 credits

The course contains an overview of a domain-specific tool, language or techniques (such as programming in Python for big data, modeling and simulation of embedded intelligent systems in Matlab, functional programming and embedded parallel programming).

Teaching is on-campus, hybrid attendance/teaching is possible if necessary.
