About the education

The aim of the programme is for students to develop in-depth knowledge of the interdisciplinary field of health, welfare and lifestyle. This involves developing a deeper understanding of complex health-related determinants and behaviours in various contexts, and how these can be predicted and changed. These include global health, unequal health, processes that shape and influence people’s lifestyles, and how the prevalence of health and ill health is influenced by different welfare models. A core objective of the program is the use of different health and welfare innovations, as well as health-promoting interventions, to strengthen health and welfare among individuals and groups.
