
Master's Programme in Responsible Global Marketing
As a business economist with a focus on responsible global marketing, you can design, lead and implement global marketing strategies that balance competitiveness with responsibility. The programme equips you to meet the growing demands to integrate economic, social and environmental sustainability aspects into marketing efforts, and to operate in a complex and changing global business landscape, where the goals of Agenda 2030 are becoming an increasingly important competitive factor.

Courses and competencies
The Master's programme comprises 60 credits and consists of six compulsory courses of 7.5 credits and an independent thesis of 15 credits. The full list of courses included in the programme can be found in the programme syllabus.
You start by immersing yourself in global business and business intelligence, followed by global marketing. Next, you will study business model innovation in a global context, strategic brand management, and global innovation management. During the programme, you will be trained in analysing cultural differences, developing business models for a sustainable world, leading innovation processes and designing brand strategies that work in international markets.
The studies conclude with an independent thesis where you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in an area that is relevant to both your future career and ongoing research.
Innovative environments and teaching methods
The teaching is research-based and takes place in interactive forms such as seminars, workshops, cases, study visits and project work. You will work with real-life problems in collaboration with companies and organisations, often with direct links to current research projects. The programme is taught in English and in an international study environment, strengthening your intercultural skills and making you well prepared for a global job market.
After the education
Degree
The programme leads to a Master's degree (60 credits) in Business Administration with the title Degree of Master of Science with a major in Business Administration.
Carreer
After completing the programme, you are ready to take on qualified roles in international companies, organisations and consulting firms. You will be provided with a unique combination of business administration skills, international marketing understanding and a sustainability perspective. You will gain the skills to develop, lead and implement global marketing strategies that combine business competitiveness with social and environmental responsibility. The programme also prepare you for roles in research and development.
