Follow-up of research programmes after three years
After three years, each research programme at Halmstad University undergoes an in-depth follow-up. The purpose is to assess how well the programme has developed in relation to its objectives and how it contributes to the University’s research, education and societal development. The follow-up provides a basis for decisions on the programme’s continued development and funding.
The research programme reports and analyses its results from the first three years. Particular focus is placed on developments in research, education, societal impact and the programme’s contribution to the University’s profile areas.
As part of the follow-up, the programme is reviewed by an external review panel with scientific expertise. The panel assesses the extent to which the programme has achieved its objectives and provides recommendations for its continued development. The results are then considered by the Research and Education Board and form part of the basis for the Vice-Chancellor’s strategic decisions on future initiatives and funding.
