Digital Detectives

The Digital Detectives course provides a foundational understanding of investigating cybercrimes through collecting and analyzing digital evidence. Students will gain hands-on experience with data recovery, mobile device forensics, and the examination of emerging technologies. The course emphasizes the legal and ethical responsibilities of handling digital evidence and preparing students to conduct professional and compliant investigations. Topics include secure network and distributed system design and threat intelligence using platforms like MISP. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with practical skills to investigate incidents across various digital environments, including the Deep and Dark Web.
