Nursing from an International Perspective

The course deals with issues related to health and ill health from an international perspective. The student participates in nursing situations in different healthcare environments where the student meets individuals and families from different cultural contexts. The course discusses health problems and variations in the health and ill health of the population both within and between countries. The 2030 Agenda and the right to health are highlighted. The nurse's profession in the host country and home country is problematized.
