Working with

I work with education, product development and health innovation at Halmstad University. My main areas of expertise are design processes, human-machine interaction, product development and innovation, with a particular focus on how ideas can be developed, tested and translated into practice.

In my teaching, I mainly work with engineering students in product development, design and innovation. My teaching includes design methodology, concept development, prototyping, sustainable product development and human-machine interaction. I also work with course development, supervision and pedagogical issues related to digital learning environments, examination and generative AI in education.

A central part of my work takes place within Leap for Life, where I am project manager for the ERUF-funded project Innovations for Personalised Care. The project aims to strengthen the innovation and development capacity of small and medium-sized enterprises in health, healthcare and social care. In this role, I work with collaboration between academia, industry, municipalities and the region, focusing on needs identification, user perspectives and the development of new products, services and working methods.

My academic background is in biomechanics and mechanical engineering, with specialisation in product development, design, textile innovation and human-centred AI.
