Working with

I am a Senior lecturer in nursing and has a PhD and an MSc in biomedicine. I am also program manager of the masterprogram in Health and Lifestyle. In my research I study early growth, risk factors for overweight and obesity and associated diseases as well as rapid weight gain in children and adolescents. In this field I have studied the measures Waist-to-Height Ratio and Body Mass Index as instruments in the detection of overweight, obesity and abdominal adiposity in children. I also take part in a research project including a cohort of children where we study sleep and health in children with ADHD and sleep problems with a long-term perspective. Besides that I collaborate with researchers from the University of Gothenburg where we study growth and diet in children, adolescents and young adults in eight European countries.
