Experimental measurement, sensor systems, perception, and AI, with a particular focus on how robust and trustworthy systems can be developed, analysed, and validated for safety-critical applications. The research includes optical and other sensor-based measurement systems, sensor fusion, trajectory analysis, data-driven perception methods, and the verification and validation of AI-based systems. I am also interested in the trustworthy and responsible use of AI, including questions related to traceability, AI security, and system understanding in technically complex environments.
